Presentation of the Matt LambSM: Centenary Series to the National University of Ireland (NUI) and Queens University Belfast (QUB) at Dublin Castle, Ireland.
3rd December 2008

In commemoration of the centenary celebrations of the National University of Ireland and Queens University Belfast, both of which were founded in 1908, Matt Lamb presented a series of five paintings, one to each of the four constituent universities of the National University of Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Galway and Maynooth) and to Queens University Belfast.  This project represents a major donation of Matt Lamb paintings to Irish universites in their centenary year and the paintings will be hung with the university collections throughout Ireland.  The project was organized by Linda O'Shea Farren, who has hosted exhibitions of Matt's work in Dublin, and Fergus O'Mahony of the Warren Gallery, Castletownshend, who is Matt's gallery representative in Ireland.
